Bev Pomering

Bev Pomering founded the Live R.E.A.L. Foundation in 2020 after her oldest son, Alex died from fentanyl Aug 28, 2019. Bev is a life-long resident of Winnebago County, Illinois and has been married to her husband Terry for over 25 years. Together they raised their sons, Alex (forever 20) and Jason.
Bev works full-time as a secretary of a local elementary school. When not at work, getting her CRSS certification or busy with the charity you can find her getting dirty in the many flower beds that adorn her yard, crafting in her basement, relaxing by her fish pond or living the couch potato life watching mindless television.

Felicia Konaszewski is a mom of two boys, Ethan and Thomas.  She takes joy in raising her family with her husband of ten years, Christopher Zawada.  She loves doing everything with them!  From going to the beach to playing Mario Kart, she is always up to something fun!  Besides her family, her other passions are gardening, cooking, bike riding, playing the piano, spending time in nature, reading, dancing, writing, doing yoga, and traveling.  She is the owner of Storybook Shots Photography and also works from home as a childcare provider.  Once Felicia found out about Live R.E.A.L. she knew she wanted to be a part of it!  After losing her little brother to an overdose a few years ago, she knew this would be the perfect way to honor his memory while helping to spread awareness, support, and love to the community! She is looking forward to getting her hands dirty in the community garden and to helping with all of the wonderful projects and events Live R.E.A.L works on!
